My SuperPower

With all the unrealistic things my friends and I are in two...usually called fiction and or fantasy my friends and I got talking one day in Wal Mart about what super power we could have in the whole world.

Most of the girls said the power to read minds...I really don't want to know what the boy next to me thinks of my shirt...honestly I don't need superpowers to know what he is thinking.

Most of the guys said something along the lines of speed or strength. Fairly typical. Guys like to show off and what better way to impress a girl than to show your strength.

There were a few flying,messing with natural elements and so on.

I was in la la land for most of the conversation apparently because when I was asked what superpower I would have, I answered with a "Huh?"

Then I got thinking about what superpower I would want. I figured it out. I want to be able to mess with the future...and just so you know...not for the reasons you guys think.

Sadly I would make a crappy superhero because I wouldn't use my power to stop evil forces before they happened. I would use them to see what my future would be or whether I pass college or marry the right kids or how many kids will all my siblings have. I don't want to know. I worry way too much and I can't handle that responsibility. So then why go into the future....

I want to go into the future because I am impatient. Yup thats it right there. Nothing kills me more than waiting for movies to come out, waiting for the next book in a book series to come out, or wondering who is going to win the World Cup or the SuperBowl...and yes I might gamble a little if I knew those scores. But it basically comes down to the fact that I hate finishing a very good book series only to find out that the next one doesn't come out until 8 months later. Shoot...I am lucky if I remember what I ate all day, much less all the details on a whole book series. Then what usually happens is that I end up reading every book in the series right before the next one comes out. One of my series has 9 books to it. You know how much time I waste reading those books over and over because I can't remember fine details. Or like movies series...is that what they are called? What do you call movies that have more than 3 movies in the group? I am going with Saga. Except the Saw Saga or Nightmare on Elm Street Sage sounds lame. Anywho when I finished the first Iron Man I wanted to see the next one right away. Same with all the Harry Potters.

I AM IMPATIENT!!!! in case you haven't figured that out. Patience is a trait I am working on... I swear but I wish I had to power to go into the future so I could see if i ever master the skill of Patience. :)

Anyways, be glad I am not a super hero because I would so be like Hancock. I would be rich but crappy at the same time.
