I saw Iron Man 2. What did I think...? Well I have a check list for movies like this. An action movie has to have these three elements to make me happy.
1. really AWESOME ACTION... Iron man CHECK
2. Hot guys- oh you thought I liked action figures because they were cool? Iron man CHECK
3. Nice cars... Iron Man CHECK
So did I like the movie? HECK YES I DID. It was amazing.
OK so maybe I should put legitimate reasons to why this movie was amazing. Let me start with the Previews. I saw previews for two of my most anticipated movies that are coming out this summer. Eclipse and Last Airbender! I mean I was freaking out a little in my seat when I saw these previews. Especially the Last Airbender. Thats another tangent for another day. Anyways the trailers didn't disappoint. So it started off with a good start.
Then the actually movie started. I just love Robert Downy Jr. I know I shouldn't but I do. I LOVE Tony and Peppers bickering. It was super funny. I got really excited when Iron Man and War Machine started fighting together. It was amazing. Its like Iron Man had all of this technology and then War Machine stepped in with his new technology and just when you thought he had one up Iron Man, Iron Man whips out something totally unseen. It just made you want to scream, "HECK YEAH THAT IS RIGHT! BEAT THAT EVIL RUSSIAN GUY!" If you think I just said that in my head, you're wrong. I so said that out loud. One of my dreams is to be on Mystery Science Theater. Anywho, I loved how the plot unfolded and the Character Development.
However the thing that really made me happy was all the lead ins for the AVENGERS!!!! I AM SO EXCITED AND I JUST CAN'T HID IT!!! I know I am a little bit nerd and a little bit every guys dream. I get it. If only i knew how to get those two qualities to work out for me. Just so you know... I have been waiting for AVENGERS to come out since like 2006. Yes I knew about it then.
So why was I so excited about all the AVENGER lead ins? Because Frankly I know the AVENGERS, and I know the JUSTICE LEAGUE but only just enough to be excited about them. If you go to my Oldest Brothers house and open up this heavy big blue trunk of his, you will find comic after comic stored in that sucker, that and all his little figurines he painted. Much to say, when he was on his mission Dane and I would sneak a peek at that trunk. Don't worry Chad we were careful with them. Dane liked the little action figures more than the comics.
Well I was never allowed to actually open them up, so I would take them out and study the covers and try to figure out what was going on. Then there was Saturday cartoons that had most of his comic books.
What AVENGERS where introduced in IRON MAN 2? well obviously Black Widow, reference to Captain America and at the very end...you gotta wait till after the credits, THOR!!
I am not sure which Avengers are going to be put in the movie that comes out in 2012 (End of the World)
I mean most of the big one already have movies out. Well this post is too long and unless you are a guy, most of you don't care.
Case in Point... GO SEE IRON MAN 2 AND WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CREDITS!!!
oh and the next post is going to be about the Avengers and Justice League.
